Picture a bright blue ball just spinning, spinning free
It's dizzying, the possibilities. Ashes, Ashes all fall down.

So true... I've never fallen off my Dixon Trad and skinned my knee!
Oh, then you've got a big seat.

On the whistle I mean. :P

I'm having a similiar experience. The nature of our band means all of us play several instruments. I play one or two pretty well because they manage to end up in my hands more often. But some instruments can get set aside for months if the songs I use them on are not in the current live set. So my skills bounce around a bit depending on how often I get to play them. Which isn't nearly enough.

Just started exploring whistle and the nice thing is I can keep one with me and play with it whenever I have a few moments. So I hope I can play well some day.

But I truthfully like being a Jack of all Trades and being able to play a few instruments well enough. I don't want to be a master of one, not enough focus for mastery of one instrument I guess. But I do hope to be better at a few.

Good luck to you, and on keep playing the instruments you love!!
