You can use polyclays like Fimo or Sculpey to fill in the holes that. I used to do that when I first started making whistles

Recently I used Epoxy I purchased from an Ace Hardware store that was for Marine use that work very well for covering up a hole that I had made too large in a PVC whistle I was attempting to make. It dries/sets up very quickly and it was a cinch to sand to the shape I wanted. Sculpey is fantastic stuff too.

Tommy makes and sells some great whistles! My whistle case has a canarywood D, a gorgeous olive wood C, a PVC Bb, PVC G, and a tweaked Feadog C.

Hi Tommy,
How did you make the “ Conical Bore” copper... with pvc head... with a brass tip.... (prototype)

If you get it working... would you be interested in making a trade for one of my whistle.
If you are interested contact me at: tyiam@comcast.net

The conical bore is made from 1/2'' round copper pipe by removing a wedge from the bottom side then shaping it into a conical.
