:-? :-? :-? what the heck is your problem, bub???

a bit of advise: fishing for complements is a lot like fishing in a toilet. you will very often end up with the same "prize."
Be very glad you're career choices didn't steer you towards being a someone who gives advice for a living, because that's probably the most irrelevant and assinine advice I've ever heard.
well, if that's not gratitude . . . i go and defend your attempt at playing
the tin whistle from the caustic comment of some jerk who said
you "suck" and then you turn against me and say that my advice isn't
merely "irrelevant" and "assinine," but its the most "irrelevant"
and "assinine" advice you've ever heard. i must say that i am
emotionally crushed, sir. surely, you of all people, understand what its
like to be criticized.

as far as "assinine" and "irrelevant" are concerned, i have to admit that i
haven't had much experience with people pretending to be someone else
while talking crap about themselves in the third person. you're right, i
didn't make working with people like you a "career choice." as a layman i
guessed that you -- or he (i'm not sure which one i'm addressing here)
was fishing for complements -- hence my analogy on "fishing" which
would have made the advice/comment sort of relevant, i suppose. if my
layman's intuition was off the mark (as you insinuate) then i apologize for
thinking that is why you behaved the way you did. and, in which case, i
freely admit that i don't have a clue as to the rules of the game you're
playing with all of us.

"irrelevant" "assinine," "irrelevant" "assinine" "assinine" "irrelevant" "career choice." "fishing"
You certainly get the vote for the 'Most Words or Phrases Quotated in a Post' from me. Plain and simple, this is a topic for YouTube videos -- I posted mine with a self-depricating introduction which, I believe, is my god given right. Frankly, after publicly performing on any given number of instruments over the past 25 years, I don't care what other people think about my playing -- I know where I stand in my abilities (or lack thereof) and I post more out of the fun of combining technologies with one of my favorite hobbies more than anything else.

I honestly don't know where you were going with your post and, in retrospect, I don't know why I'm replying, but I figure another non sequitor is as good as anything.

Azw and Wynder,

Had I known that 'insult' was *actually* Wynder on Wynder, I would have just laughed... I figure he just thought we would figure it out if we didn't already know... I think he was just being silly, and didn't quite pull it off. I didn't think, knowing what little I do of him from the short time I've 'known' him, that he would actually say that about anyone in any seriousness, especially since he has already admitted that he has been greatly humbled by joining the ranks of the online whistle world. Had it been otherwise I would have jumped his arse too, but it is clear now that he wasn't insulting someone, just having a go at himself, and I think it silly to keep harping on it.

You are both better than that.
