Ok...

Here I am with Steve inside his shop...I had been awake for two days.

<img src=http://members.aol.com/jessinireland/Jessie-Steve.jpg>

Here's the building where Shannaquay is...Shannaquay is on the right side. Steve and I are standing in the doorway.

<img src=http://members.aol.com/jessinireland/Shannaquay.jpg>

After some rest, here I am about a half a mile from the center of Dingle...doesn't it look like Florida?

<img src=http://members.aol.com/jessinireland/Dingle-BB.jpg>

Here's Richard (the one in the middle) having some fun with newly-found friends in Kilkee.

<img src=http://members.aol.com/jessinireland/R-Kilkee.jpg>

Here's Custy's Music Shop in Ennis.

<img src=http://members.aol.com/jessinireland/Custys.jpg>

Here I am at the Cliffs of Moher.

<img src=http://members.aol.com/jessinireland/J-cliffs.jpg>

In Doolin, I bought a Martin Doyle flute.

<img src=http://members.aol.com/jessinireland/Do ... rchase.jpg>

In Kinvara, Eugene Lambe showed me how he makes his metal headjoints for wooden flutes.

<img src=http://members.aol.com/jessinireland/Je ... -lathe.jpg>

In Roundstone, I played the Martin Doyle flute, looking out the window of our B&B.

<img src=http://members.aol.com/jessinireland/J-Roundstone.jpg>

This location inspired me.

<img src=http://members.aol.com/jessinireland/Je ... pretty.jpg>

By the way, I played The Road to Lisdoonvarna on the road to Lisdoonvarna, but it was in the car, so I don't have a picture.

Absolutely superb stuff Jessie - and from such a tiny camera :smile: Richard must be grateful for at least one 'thief' in the world (in-joke).

Oh, There must be a fault in it though and I'm sueing you for making me look old, bald and overweight! OK, not sueing - just hiding, while I diet and grow my hair.

Lots of love

Steve

p.s. I'm sure I know that woman in the Kilkee photo!!

Tell us something.: You just slip out the back, Jack
Make a new plan, Stan
You don't need to be coy, Roy
Just get yourself free
Hop on the bus, Gus
You don't need to discuss much
Just drop off the key, Lee
And get yourself free

You really know how to vacation, Irish-style. Looks like Richard does as well. Next time, you must lead us all in the Chiff and Fipple Emerald Island Pilgrimage.

I think I know that girl in the picture too.

I'm so glad you're all enjoying my pictures. :smile:

Steve...yes, Richard is grateful for the thief. Don't be so hard on yourself!! I'm sure you're the only one who thought those things about yourself. Hmph.

Steve, you have a great shop which looks like a Department 56 Dicken's Village house. It has lots of character and charm. I could see, that if you host some sessions on a regular basis, the world's tourists should come flocking to your door.

Here are a couple more...

On the side of the road between Connemara and Roundstone, we found the boat from the Chieftains' Water From the Well CD cover.

Here's a session at Matt Molloy's in Westport.

To protect the innocent (in this case the Irish nation) I'd better clarify that my comment wasn't about a theft in Ireland :smile:

I better clarify, too. I wouldn't want the Irish Tourism Board to have to press charges. In reality, the camera was stolen in that well known town of thievery and pickpockets, London (as I was passing through to Ireland)
