From top to Bottom:
-Generation Hi G
-Brass D whistle made by James Tanguay (a most excellent teacher and whistle maker)
-Thornton C (my newest aquisition. Ain't it pretty?)
-Sweetheat Rosewood D
-Susato Low G
-Cooperman fife
-Granite Falls Mountain aluminum D
-Feadóg Pro D
-Serpent Brass D
-Bottle cap tambourine (I know it's not a whistle, but I made it myself, and I just had to include it) :)

I've recently been diagnosed with WHoa so I'm sure I'll need to update soon.
If anyone wants to get rid of a Soodlum Mello D or a Perri, let me know.

Oooh! Oooh! I just realized an excellent excuse...er... I mean... reason... yeah... an excellent reason for my needing all these whistles!! I have to have them to make sure that specific whistles fit in the cases when I make them!... yeah!! That's it!

Now I have to get many more!! Only one of each key from each maker... that's do-able, right?

Of course, it would make it much easier if everyone who ordered a case would simply send me their collection for the duration of construction. :D (whoa! It suddenly got really really quiet out there)

I want to show this because the incredible Impempe should be paid more attention to I think. First because of its unique sound and second because of its unique price.

Left to right:

Impempe Bb
Generation brass Bb
Impempe C

The Reviols must be very nice, for you to have them in several low keys. I look forward to the opportunity, if it ever presents itself, to try one. They look great too!

I love my Reviols! The low E is my favorite. They have a just the right amount of chiff for my taste. A lot less backpressure than and Overton but doesn't really require more air than on Overton. They sound very different and I've used both for different gigs. The Reviols are more pleasing to the eye but I can't decide which I like best. :D

My Dion is on the left, my 3 Busmans on the right. Gorgeous work, Paul! Plus, I got an opportunity to finally break out the Pelican case.

Mods, how about a sticky? :D

I re-affirm my original sticky request.

Steamwalker, I bet all the boys want to touch your wares when you show up at the session!

Are those (L to R) cocobolo, bocote, pink ivory, and b&w ebony?

Cocobolo, Asian Striped Ebony, Tasmanian Rose Myrtle and Black & White Ebony. All are D's except for Striped Ebony one which is a C.

Well here's one anyway. It's a Chieftain/Lunasa that we got from Kevin. Oh, and we also have a set of Susatos, two Sindts, a Gibson L-48, a Gemeinhardt silver flute, a Selmer alto sax and a Clarke that we have around just to keep the kids grateful... I'm not a parent, really, just a roadie :D

Hi
gcoogan wrote:Yeah i think in that photo the two howards are were just about to start cracking so i taped them up just for a little more protection, should really replace the heads but thay are the older model and i rarely play them anymore so i couldn't bother at the moment. all the woods are taped because of cracks and the white non tuneable susato is also cracked.
Heatshrink tubing works really well for this.
