Oooh! Oooh! I just realized an excellent excuse...er... I mean... reason... yeah... an excellent reason for my needing all these whistles!! I have to have them to make sure that specific whistles fit in the cases when I make them!... yeah!! That's it!
Now I have to get many more!! Only one of each key from each maker... that's do-able, right?
Of course, it would make it much easier if everyone who ordered a case would simply send me their collection for the duration of construction. (whoa! It suddenly got really really quiet out there)

I love my Reviols! The low E is my favorite. They have a just the right amount of chiff for my taste. A lot less backpressure than and Overton but doesn't really require more air than on Overton. They sound very different and I've used both for different gigs. The Reviols are more pleasing to the eye but I can't decide which I like best.pancelticpiper wrote:The Reviols must be very nice, for you to have them in several low keys. I look forward to the opportunity, if it ever presents itself, to try one. They look great too!

Got my Busman beauties today and had to post pics!
My Dion is on the left, my 3 Busmans on the right. Gorgeous work, Paul! Plus, I got an opportunity to finally break out the Pelican case.
Mods, how about a sticky?

Heatshrink tubing works really well for this.gcoogan wrote:Yeah i think in that photo the two howards are were just about to start cracking so i taped them up just for a little more protection, should really replace the heads but thay are the older model and i rarely play them anymore so i couldn't bother at the moment. all the woods are taped because of cracks and the white non tuneable susato is also cracked.
