Hey everyone, heard lots of good things bout this site, so I thought I'd drop by and say hello! I've just got my hands on a high D whistle and was wondering if anyone knows where I can get the notes/score to an amazing song by Paul Mounsey called "North," I'd love to be able to play that! Any help much appriciated!

Hi, Squeak :) Welcome to Chiff & Piffle...er, Fipple.

A quick netsearch may, indeed, yield your true desire. Best of luck!

Welcome Squeak...

Another possible site to explore is JCs ABC Tunefinder.... about a bazillion tunes there, give or take a few.

Cheers,
Dave

Welcome, Squeak!

You might want to consider a free "slow downer" application and trying to learn the tune by ear. Here are some choices.

Good luck, and enjoy your whistling and your time here!

Hi Squeak! Welcome to the forum. :)

I did a little (not exhaustive) googling with the words Paul Mounsey and North just for fun and didn't come up with any sheet music, free or otherwise. If it is something that is recent and copyrighted you probably won't have much luck with the free part, and unless someone has gotten permission to put the music in a book---which I didn't come across---then I think the slowdowner and learning by ear would be your best bet.
