Most of you will remember that we did a fundraiser last year which was a big success and which benefited a couple of charities, including the Children's Friendship Project for Northern Ireland. Today I got this email:
Hi Dale:
Just wanted to let you know what a great summer we've had with our girls from CFPNI in Northern Ireland. We would not have known about the program if not for your whistle contest last year. I would encourage any C&Fers interested in making a difference in kids lives and having a blast at the same time to check into the CFPNI organization
(http://www.cfpni.org)
The Kansas City Star (http://www.kcstar.com) printed a great article today about the girl's visit. The girls have also kept an online journal at http://www.thecraicsgreat.com. Since the KC Star link is temporary, I'll put a link on the girl's site to a permanent version of the
article.
Thanks again Dale!
Doug Raymond
Thanks to Doug for writing. Made my day.
Dale

At the risk of sounding comercial...
I'm still offering all proceeds from any CDs sold at http://www.mp3.com/blee towards CFPNI through the end of September and possibly longer if response merits. Again, this isn't meant as a "buy my stuff" post. Just an extra incentive to work towards peace.
All my best,
Brian~
