Idea

Post by Whitmores75087 »

A few days ago I posed a message like this one, but it went missing or something, so here it is again.
Would this board be better if it weren't monitored closely?
Would complete chaos break out if we all just posted as we please and nothing got locked or blocked?
Would whistle makers take over?

I don't know...maybe it would work. Whatta y'all think?

Do people get a lot of things locked and blocked here?

I personaly think it wouldn't be so bad. I don't think the whistle makers would take over, there would just be more than one commercial post a month
Cheers!

How about if you take this up in the original thread?? I mean, not to be policing or anything. :)

Sorry Dale, I couldn't find the original thread. I guess it moved off page one really fast.
I respect Wanderer's opinion on all things computer, and he assures me that some level of control is necessary.
I thought the subject would generate a ton of discussion. Boy did I get that wrong.

I think this board is fine how it is. I mean, there are plenty of boards on the web that aren't policed. I prefer this one.

A great board.....

Post by Les Cruttenden »

One of the best.....whilst most do not abuse the board there are examples where things have got off track...whilst we can I'm sure all defend ourselves..personal insult does tend to lower the standard of things.....some sensitive monitoring is required and seems to be done well...Les.
