Does anyone have the music for "Black is the Color of my True Love's Hair"?

This might be helpful. Also, listen to the Nina Simone version of the song. That's how I learned it.

I found the song in some of my old folk song books. It was written in 3/2 time in a non-whistle key so I wrote it out in 3/4 time using Melody Assistant and transposed it for a D whistle and created this ABC file. It is the version collected by Cecil Sharp in the Southern Appalachians. There is another version as sung by John Jacob Niles that is a little different. I like this version because it has that nice modal mountain sound! Takes me back to my folk singing days! Let me know if this is the version that you are looking for.

P.S. Posted this before I saw the other message which has the Niles version, so now you have two versions!
