I previously started a thread about fixing octave spread in cylindrical whistles, and people linked me to a couple of threads talking about how to do this. Reading the descriptions of these threads, however, is quite confusing for me. I can't really picture in my head what people are doing.
Has anyone on here ever tried to sharpen the second octave of a whistle with putty or some other material (without sacrificing the tone of the instrument)? If so, do you have a picture of what that looks like?
