As suggested I tried playing legato only and noticed my fingering needs work indeed. Especially when putting down multiple fingers at once the transitions aren't clean, so I'm working on that.

I have a similar issue I've been working on. A tip I was told for if you have to go from not many fingers down to all fingers down- If you play o x x x x x instead of all fingerers down for second octave root note, it wont have the sloppy sound it gets. But we still want to practice our transitions for all the other notes haha.
