"Amara : Island Currents" is a very rare CD of tunes composed by Galway artist and whistle player Joe Boske. I have just come across 7 tracks on a Youtube video, which features some very good whistle playing, which should be of interest.
Joe doesn't actually play on the CD himself, but there is a fairly stellar line-up of Galway-based musicians playing on the recording, including Davy Spillane, Charlie Piggott, Mairtin O'Connor, Sean Smyth and Brendan O'Regan.
