Tell us something.: Hey, I'm here because this is a music forum and was hoping to find a Copland tin whistle for sale. Ever since Mr Copeland stopped making whistles it's been difficult to find them anywhere, so I'm hoping I can find one for sale here

Looking to buy a Copeland Tin Whistle in D or a tunable

Post by Tin Whistler Michael »

Hey guys, I’ve been looking for a Copeland tin whistle and am hoping I can find one for sale here. I know they are valuable and rare but I am hoping I can find someone willing to part with one and share the beauty of Mr Copeland’s work.
Please let me know if you have one for sale.
Thank you.

That one is a low D, which is definitely worth its buy it now price. I have a low D which I paid more for. It is magical.

High Ds do come up now and again. Keep your eyes open.

I took it to be, "Key of 'D' or 'A', tunable."

Had looked at it that way. Plausible enough. Worn that T-shirt a few times too.

Tell us something.: Hi I am looking to find someone interested in Irish low tin whistles. I found this thread about the instruments I am interested, and one person was asking about Copeland solid silver flute. I'd like to send a message to this person and say I have one to sell.
