I’m new to Copelands but recently purchased two high Ds. One whistle has no numbers on the outside of the body but if I shine a light into the head from where it joins the body, there is a “2” stamped on the fipple block. The other whistle has a “31” stamped on the back, which I took to be the serial number, but “301” stamped on the block inside the head. Can anyone help me figure out what these fipple block numbers are?
Thanks!

Re: Copeland fipple block number
I spoke to Michael today and learned that these markings are related to windway height measurements.
