Check out Shearwater at the lower end of the market price wise, or maybe get a MK Kelpie.
Those are the two that I have; I was about to order a Kerry, when the Kelpie showed up pre used, so I bought it instead.

I've had F's by Burke, Susato, and Alba but just recently I got one from Colin Goldie and it's by far the best F I've owned.
I chatted with Colin on the phone, he played six different F's he had to hand, and as he played and discussed how they played and what preferences I had this particular one ended up being the most suited for me.
He had other F's I think, in different bore-sizes and different windway heights, but I like his Mediums so we were mainly discussing those.
It arrived in little over a week, from Germany to California. I was impressed!

But they sound great. You can never tell before you played one. Unfortunately those will certainly not be available in any store to test them before buying.
