I live in the United States and during the past 10 years I had several opportunities to purchase a low D whistle from Kerry whistles. Just recently, a Chieftain V5 and an Optima, both still in the middle of their journey to my address in US.
Kerry whistles have a stellar reputation. However, based on my (very) personal experience, I can say that the few times I contacted the company for questions or assistance, I got either no response at all or I did receive super telegraphic answers. Maybe an added grain of customer service skills would not spoil the party ! :)
You may have had different experiences, comments are welcome.

Often the case with small one or two man businesses. They are too busy making great instruments. Don't be too hard on them.

I haven't dealt with Kerry Whistles in a while but always had good service. Craftsmen have their little interruptions in life as everyone else, sickness, relocation, or vacation/holiday time and family issues.
