Long out of print, and surpassed by much better tutors available today, but I thought this oldie from Comhaltas in 1971 might be of interest to some.

I've scanned the book into a PDF, and recorded each side of the cassette to mp3.

I started with it. I had never heard the cassette, though the friend who gave me a photocopy demonstrated the rolls etc.

Thank you for sharing. Very clear explanation and demonstration of the rolls for reels.

Much like myself. I had the book years ago but only came across the cassette about 20 years later - total random find in a record shop in Dublin.

I'm admittedly quite new to the tin whistle but based on some of the replies, this seems to be an interesting bit of history, at the very least. Thanks for sharing!
