Praise for the Waltons Mellow D

I received my Waltons Mellow D today and I have to say, I am really happily surprised by this little gem of a whistle. So far I have most of the trad style whistles: Generation (including two of the famous vintage versions, one in C and one in D), Clare, Feádog (standard and pro), Clarke (Sweetone, MEG, "classic") and a standard Waltons. But this one even takes the cake compared to my vintage Generation D. It is very stable for a trad-style whistle, no squeaking and squealing or breaking of notes. Ornaments sound nice and snappy.
Compared to a standard Waltons the head is very different. The ramp and the windway are longer. The barrell is so much wider that you could fit the standard model inside and still have room left.
The sound is, like the name suggests, mellower than a normal Waltons. Considering the price of 9.50 €, this is incredible value for the money. I will try and record something in the next couple of days, if I find the time. For now just two pics:
