By popular demand, we present the *NEW* Chiff & Fipple WhistleMakers Directory, or WMD. And unlike other WMDs, you don't have to go hunting for it in hidden bunkers. It's right here in a Sticky thread.

Maker entries are listed alphabetically by uppercase keyword, and the format of each entry should be self-evident. You can use your browser's search function (e.g. Control-F) to search for details in the list.

Criteria for inclusion in this web directory are simple. The maker must 1. Be currently active producing whistles for sale and/or taking orders; 2. Have a web or internet presence to link to. The linked resource should include contact information at minimum, and preferably a description of the instruments offered, prices, availability etc. as well. The linked resource should also be open and world-viewable without special passwords or accounts (Chiffboard profiles excepted).

If a maker does not have a website to link to, his/her C&F Profile page may be used instead. Any maker is welcome to register a Chiffboard account for this purpose. And all makers are encouraged to make sure that their Profile pages are accurate and up to date.

At our discretion, we may also include makers without a web presence or Profile, substituting an e-mail link or other traditional contact information.

In cases where there is a question about the suitability of a maker and/or a maker's products for inclusion, the judgment of Dale and the Mods will be final.

Keywords marked with an asterisk (*) indicate active makers who may not be offering whistles in their product line at this time. Please contact the individual maker to inquire about availability.

UPDATES AND MAINTENANCE

We are going to rely on you, the Chiffboard community, to help us keep this WMD accurate and up to date.

To alert us to any changes, corrections, additions, or deletions, simply post your information to the end of the thread. We will evaluate all posts and incorporate these updates into the main list as appropriate.

To suggest a new maker, a complete entry in the standard format will be most helpful.

A note at the bottom of the list will always indicate the date of last update, and the count of maker entries listed.

Important: Posts to this thread should be limited to specific update and maintenance information only, not general discussion of makers and/or their products. That is what the forums are for. Any posts or parts of posts that violate this guideline will be deleted without warning.
