FS: Clarke C Tin Whistle- Vintage 1985 & NEW, never played

Post by kburget »

In the late 80s, ownership of the Clarke company changed hands, along with the design of their whistles. So this is a bit of time travel. These whistles have never been played, never even been unboxed, fresh as the day they were packed ~34 years ago. Flutey chiff to them, easy to play. C Whistle.

Tell us something.: Whistles are fun, whistles are charming, whistles sound nice, whistles are affordable, whistles make us smile, whistles make dogs bark, and whistles upset some neighbors.

I actually have several of these vintage Clarkes in C. They came from the same box from the same seller. They really are nice whistles. The wooden block is secured with metal pins and the block is also more flush against the metal sides, which makes the air requirement much more efficient. To me, they are better than the current Clarke Originals.
