Brad Anderson Whistles

Post by thedarkpiper »

Hi Folks, just a quick one here!
Does anybody know if Brad Anderson (who once received great reviews for his whistles) is still making?
Interestingly I tried his web link from the WMD link on this site, but it doesn’t go to any active website?
Any help most appreciated...... :-?

Unless I’m mistaking him for someone else, he tends to make them in batches and then puts them all up together in a commercial post here.
The few I’ve tried were all good whistles. My only complaint was that he used wood for the fipple plug which I found a bit annoying. It probably wouldn’t bother most people, but for me the sensation of wood touching my bottom lip was somewhat akin to how some struggle with the sound of nails on a chalkboard. Of course that was years ago, so he may have since switched to some type of delrin or acetyl plug since then.
Have you tried contacting through this board via PM?

Update:
I just did a search to see if I could figure out his username here and ran across this thread that indicates he stopped making whistles in 2011.
