I used to have a Burke. I gave it to my son. It is a nice whistle, but I have too many nice whistles. You will likely not need to use cork grease on it. I has a finely engineered slide. You will be fine if you follow the instructions he'll likely send along with them.

Thank you. Since I've heard about an O Ring issue, how do you clean it out, if you can't take it apart?

You can take it apart. The only contact points are the O rings. You do need to take some care putting it back together, but nothing all that difficult.
