Chiff and Fipple Forums

So I ventured out a little looking at different builds of different ripples instruments and found a YouTube video that was titled” how make a ocarina in the forest”.
If you go to that video and fast forward to the part where he is constructing the fipple the bevel to the ocarina is on the inside . I’m just wondering how that affects the sound of an instrument.
