Hey all,
Sharing a clip from the studio last weekend. This is a Burke brass session D recorded with an AKG 414. This was a one-shot recording done live with piano, guitar, and percussion. Only editing is reverb and compression. Tune is “Táimse Im' Chodladh“ (I Am Asleep).

Very nice whistle playing; tasteful ornamentation. The reverb is a bit heavy for my taste. It's nice enough playing that reverb isn't going to help it/add much to it, in my opinion.

Nicely done. But I agree that the reverb need faster decay. Right now it's more like an echo.

- Tell us something.: I have grown up surrounded by Irish music and culture and have played the whistle since first grade. I love playing the various instruments I have aquired over the years and would love to help others with their instruments in any way I can.

Perhaps the reverb was a bit heavy, but it didn't take away anything from this piece. Absolutely beautiful. Thank you for sharing!
