Goldie's low whistles and Goldie's Overton low whistles

Post by Chino »

Well, I owned good old non-tunable Overton low whistles (low D, Low Eb, Low C and low Bb) made by Colin Goldie back in 2001-2002.

I've never played recent Goldie's low whistles, so I'm interested to see the differences between the Goldie's and the Overton's Colin made before making under his name.

Are there differences in terms of craftmanship, playability, sound? In other words, and I know it's a difficult question, are the Goldie's whistles "better" or at least different from the Overton's whistles he made?
