That must have been a very exciting day. In a stomach churning sort of way. [quote="Wanderer"]I bent a copeland once. The tone was not improved.

- Tell us something.: I have a fascination for musical instruments of all kinds, and though I'm not a very good player I have a small collection of acoustic instruments including 5 recorders, 3 tin whistles , 3 guitars and 2 ukuleles.

Re: Yet another whistle storage/carrying solution
I plan on making one for my Feadóg out of an old neck tie.
I'd show a pic but I need an alternative to Photobucket...

- Tell us something.: I can only hope that my proficiency with the whistle is steadily improving. A few of my whistles get a workout on an almost daily basis. And I'm almost certainly afflicted with WhOAD.

I never have any need to wear a tie, but a good idea nevertheless!

- Tell us something.: A new tin whistle player, I'm eager to learn more from the collective wisdom of this group. While my playing could use lots of help, I'm especially eager to learn which recordings to listen to.
Re: Yet another whistle storage/carrying solution
I was looking for some type of hard case to hold a few whistles in my soft luggage. Just received the following: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002PIB0D6/
It will take 3 soprano D whistles, but not long enough for a C. Still, a good inexpensive option for my purposes, and even has a bit of foam padding at one end.
