"Overton/Howard Style", Huh? The two are nothing alike!

Okay, so who's going to be the first person to order one of these Low D's and see if they actually exist? (I can't afford to at the moment or I'd volunteer)

Tell us something.: "Tell us something" hits me a bit like someone asking me to tell a joke. I can always think of a hundred of them until someone asks me for one. You know how it is. Right now, I can't think of "something" to tell you. But I have to use at least 100 characters to inform you of that.

Heya,

I have heard disturbing news that such a whistle is a standard Kerry made by Phil's group, the one that looks like a big generation. They're nice, but nowhere near the price he's asking. That's almost 200 dollars. I  at the idea.

I received a reply from Spillane today regarding my enquiry on purchasing a low D from him:
We have a howerd style low d in stock at £175 uk sterling + £7 p+p.

if you are interested please send a bankers draft to:

D SPILLANE
LOUGH SOUTH
LISCANNOR
CO CLARE
IRELAND

Thank you
To which I replied:
Thanks for the reply, but I'm interested in purchasing one of your hand made Overton style low D whistles... not a Howard style.
Could you please give me some purchasing information regarding those whistles?
If it can be done, I fully intend to haul in The Loch Ness Monster on a flyrod!
Regards,
Gary Humphrey
