Whistle Making Course

Post by plamas »

Hi All,
Just wanted to flag a whistle making course that I'll be giving as part of Paul McGrattan's Ballyfermot College of Further Education course.
It'll run early in the new year over several weekends, and there are still a few places left.
If you're interested, best plan is to contact Paul directly at paulmcgrattanbcfe(at)gmail.com

I don't suppose there is any chance you will video it, and make it available online in some form is there? Even a highlights reel or something like that? If I was there, I would be signed up in a heartbeat.

Tell us something.: Hi, I have been playing whistle for 3 years. I made my first whistle 2 years ago and my first tin whistle last year in a tinsmithing class.

Will the class involve constructing whistles and shop-work or is it academic?

Recording, or making recordings available will be up to the college, and it is a hands on shop course, and you'll have a whistle to go at the end.
As I said, best plan is to contact Paul McGrattan directly.
