Cheiftain V5 Low D

do you find that it would have been better if the holes were not scalloped, or do you think this was a good idea , also how does this version pan out with the rest,

I got one of the new V5s a few weeks ago, I think it's better than the previous versions, very easy to play and responsive though a bit quiet for sessions but great at home or in the car.
As for the scooped holes, I've scooped mine a little more by taking off the sharp edge at the top of the holes making it nice and smooth and great for slides and it's now really confortable.
Last week I got a new Kerry pro from Phil Hardy and done the same. Bit of WHAD recently :D

How do you find the V5 compares to the Kerry Pro, especially in how much air they require?
