Cheiftain V5 Low D
do you find that it would have been better if the holes were not scalloped, or do you think this was a good idea , also how does this version pan out with the rest,

Re: Cheiftain V5 Low D
I got one of the new V5s a few weeks ago, I think it's better than the previous versions, very easy to play and responsive though a bit quiet for sessions but great at home or in the car.
As for the scooped holes, I've scooped mine a little more by taking off the sharp edge at the top of the holes making it nice and smooth and great for slides and it's now really confortable.
Last week I got a new Kerry pro from Phil Hardy and done the same. Bit of WHAD recently

Happiness is taking things as they are.

How do you find the V5 compares to the Kerry Pro, especially in how much air they require?narrowdog wrote:I got one of the new V5s a few weeks ago ....
