Freeman "Baybird"

Post by jbowen507 »

In case you missed it, The Whistle Shop acquired some Mel Bay whistles that are no longer in production, and the owner of the shop Thom sent them to Jerry Freeman to tweak. I happened to be on Facebook at the right time to catch the announcement last weekend. The eight available whistles sold out in less than a day. I thought my WhOAD was over, but they had me at Jerry saying that the whistles are "the sweetest voiced I've ever done." http://www.thewhistleshop.com/catalog/w ... ybird.html. After playing around with it for a bit yesterday, I couldn't agree more. Anyone else here lucky enough to get their hands on one? Initial thoughts?
