Breton trad tunes

Post by Brus »

I thought that at one time I found a website with a large number (hundreds) of traditional Breton tunes, most an dros.

Does anyone know of a website like that? Googling has turned up much smaller collections, but not what I remember.

Not hundreds, but there are some Breton tunes here.

Best wishes.

And does anyone know of a US source for Toniou Breizh Izel, 1800 tunes compiled by Polig Monjarret. It's on a CD with a purchase price from France of 10 EUR but postage is 25+ EUR.

Thanks and best wishes.

Oops, deleted post. I was looking for the book. Found that, but more expensive. Volume 1 & 2.

Did you try www.coop-breizh.fr , or is that where you found the CD-ROM? Not sure what their shipping is.

Thanks for the links.

I also found this:

http://abcnotation.com/browseTunes?n=0274#083

which, intriguingly, lists an An Dro 906 and An Dro 907. So it sounds like someone somewhere has catalogued more than 900 of them (how many more?)
