Hello!
Thanks for taking a minute to look at my post.
I'm selling a low D whistle made by Alba Whistles in Scotland in 2003. It's a great low whistle with a very bold, flute-like sound, but I already play the flute, so I've hardly ever played it. It would suit a serious whistle player hoping to be heard in a session very well.
Makes a great stocking stuffer... If you have a large stocking. The whistle has a couple of minor scratches but is otherwise in excellent condition.

Re: FS: Alba Low D Whistle
I am the lucky soul who got this whistle. It's wonderful. What a blessing. It will be years before my skill outgrows this whistle.

Re: FS: Alba Low D Whistle
I'm an Alba Whistle newbie, in December got a Bass A (huge) which is wonderful.
I have 2 other Albas on order (Low C and Low E). They will allow me compare how Albas stack up against other makes that I have to hand. (The Bass A is an outlier, and I have nothing to compare it to.)

Yes, sir. I watched the thread regarding your acquisition with great interest. Your initial review was instrumental in my acquisition.
I've watched your posts with great respect for many years.

I've been doing this a long time but for every opinion I have there are loads of people who have been doing it as long or longer who have opposite opinions.
It's the great thing about this site, the multiplicity of viewpoints on anything and everything.
It's only when my thoughts on something happen to coincide with Mr Gumby's that I think I might be on the right tack.
