Happy New Whistle Day (HNWD) to me!

And I didn't even know it was going to happen. I was gifted by Dan Bingamon today with one of his Practice Low D whistles. Dan, you are the man! Thank you.

My fingers had some interesting learning on the Bb. This is a whole new level of finger gymnastics!

I like the low sound. It has a very pleasant tone from first octave all the way through second octave. I tried to get a third octave D, but I almost passed out from the amount of air needed! :)

This is going to be interesting and fun.

Nothng quite like playing with a new whistle. It makes the birds sing and the clouds more fluffy.

Have fun with the low D, Chad. I bought one of those and thought it was one of the easiest playing low Ds around, nice finger spacings, good tone. Unfortunately, my niece came to the same conclusions and moved the whistle to her house.

Geez! Doncha hate that! :D

Best of luck to you Caedmon. I know you'll love it once you get used to it.
