Gene Milligan whistles

Post by davidbruce »

I am looking at Gene's whistles and I am intrigued by his "quiet head" whistle. Is there anyone who has experience with the quiet head? I am a bit concerned that it may be prone to clogging.

I have no experience with the quiet head, but I do have several of Gene's whistles and love them.

The only one I would describe as loud(ish) is the high D in delrin. My high D in blackwood is noticeably quieter.

Check with Gene, he might have a quiet head whistle you could test drive. He's really easy to work with.
