recently,I received some great gifts, including two ALBA whistles .

the both show the key "D" ,but the fipples is different,one is normal,other one is straight.
and the whistle which fipple is straight ,has a Hole on the back, if i am not hold down the hole on the back,it make no sound.

i never seen ALBA in china,before.

my questions are : 1. What is the difference between these two whistles? they are both the key "D".

2. and They sound deep, des not like SHAW or CLARKE and others,in "D", the key is "high D" or "low D"?? ( This is a kind of China's claim)
3.The hole in the back , what is it used for??What will bring change?

I don't know anything about Alba whistles.

About the hole in the back, those are usually for a C natural.

How use to make the sound C-natrual? press down the back hole when playing C-sharp?

and the other Alba also is the "D",but these is not a hole in the back.

I have three ALBA whistles, but I don't know stacey made something like that

I probably should have paid more attention to that whistle before I put in the box. I got it many years ago from Stacey and I have no idea how many were made.

These are great，Just because in China tinwhistle is rare , so not seen these, these are perfect whistles！
