Will the pill even dissolve in a Pill Pocket? We went through something VERY similar with our doyenne, who died in April... Weight loss, hyperthyroid, vomiting (rather than diarrhea). Check your vet or pet store. We did have a funny (in the end) experience similar to the joke above. We were moving c...

I'm consuming some right now (big cuppa joe). I drink about 2-3 cups of coffee/day, but I've also abstained for a week or two. When I'm sick (head colds and the like) coffee just doesn't taste good, and I don't drink it. I may have some tea occasionally, but usually go with herbal (no caffeine). I r...

At Zoukfest this year Andy Irvine was talking about when he put "The Girl I Left Behind" together and he said that when he first tried to sing it he couldn't get past this passage without breaking down: Well if all that you reveal be true our friendship’s at an end Since first you came to ...

Since it seems established that Kate Smith does everybody's favorite version of God Bless America, who does your favorite version of the Star Spangled Banner? Two versions, both at Giant's games... Joe Satriani did a simple, elegant electric guitar version, and Jerry Garcia, Bob Wier and Vince Weln...

Thanks for starting this thread. I've been enjoying the tour. Maybe it's the absence of obvious stars, but there seems to be more focus on team interplay. I'm not all that happy with the US coverage on Versus, though. It's not only the annoying & repetitive ads for the network's lineup of shows...

One of things I hate the most about flying are the carryon bags that people bring. Crikey. I definitely feel a bit less safe these days on packed planes with such poundage above. Guilty, m'lud. I'm one of those annoying people who NEVER checks luggage if I can possibly avoid it--you can shave hours...

Even in the High Country of AZ it's been hot (and humid...). The CoC did not advertise the humidity levels during monsoon season... I guess that means my zouk won't split again.

So, where do we pick up our team shirts?

Hello, Just a moment of introduction. I find that I've made a couple posts without providing any context. Figured it was time to remedy that. I'm Mark (aka MandoMark). I am a relatively new whistle player and have been perusing the boards for a couple of weeks. I'm generally a string player (mando, ...

I'll second the Si Bheag, Si Mhor as a great tune for beginners. I got a whistle at ZoukFest last month and that was the first tune I learned top to bottom. I'm now moving up to Rakes of Kildare/Morrison's, Swallowtail, and some other more seisiun-friendly tunes.

Visit www.seatguru.com . If you know your airline and the equipment you'll be flying you can have a seat-by-seat description of all the options.

Gee, didn't think my first post here would be about airline outlet availability...
