Re: Indigo Girls
I love the Indigo Girls. In particular, their song "Shame On You," it's such a wonderful composition. Are there any other Indigo Girls fans here? Yep, I love, love, love them, have most of their albums and even some bootleg stuff. I particularly love Emily's songs, but Amy can kick too! :)

It would be really cool to have a page where there are samples of every whistle, like syn, sindt, abell etc then let people look and decide for themselves which they like best based on the sound. Is there anything like that out there somewhere? Most of the ma...

Re: I drool a lot.
.... After a few minutes I have to stop playing and sort of whip the whistle clear of saliva (maybe there's a proper term for the procedure, I dunno). ..... Yeah, it's called "showering the audience" :) The drooling/saliva can be an issue with any mouth instrument. Do what you can to cont...

Oh no. :o Here we go again. I agree with Peter - horses for courses. My favorite bang for the buck off the shelf whistle is the Dixon Trad in a virtual photo finish with a Clarke Original. I do have an Acorn that is exceptional and a couple of Generations that work well also, but I feel the odds of ...

Try a quick wipe with some acetone (nail polish remover will do) on a cloth or paper towel (taking all of the usual precautions, i.e., gloves, good ventilation, et cetera). The black coating is a very tough and solvent-resistant material, perhaps a heat-cured powder coating, while the gold is just ...
