That was really interesting; thanks for taking the time. I knew about that whistle, but have never seen one played; now I get it. All the pipers around here just use regular whistles as far as I know.

From high to low: F, G (neither ever get used), Eb (and I have an Eb that is waiting to be made into an E), D, C, Bb, A, and low D. I would like to add low Eb, E, and F, and thinking about G's.

I have Sindts in D, Bb, and A. There are SMALL differences between them, maybe, but they are all closer to each other than any of them is to any other whistle I own. I'm not sure you would see THAT much difference between the D and the C of any maker.... if you like their D, you would probably like their C, no? I have what I think is a Cooperman whistle. My first; bought at the Fortress Louisbourg gift shop in Cape Breton.
