also if anone knows places to get free sheet music (not tabs) for any of the said bands. i can't find any free and i am certainly not going to shell out 5$ for sheet music. theres got to be some file sharing place with just tons of good sheet music, right?

well I got a rochelle, it will be here tuesaday :D . can't wait. in the mean time I borrowed a piano accordion from the neighborhood polka playing lady, and I think I'm hooked :twisted: :lol: . so I guess play it all is the answer as it invariably is :wink:

I love my sussato, (the holes are big and evenly spaced, its tunable, it fits nicley in my hand, the fipple fits nicely in my mouth) UNTIL I BLOW INTO IT. then its over. very loud and piercing, second octave must be overblown. its the only trad instrament that makes my ears ring after playing it. wow not much goin on hear. anyway i'm about to buy a rochelle too. I hope to be playing in a pogues type band in the future and i would also appreciate any advice on micing concertinas. by the way what whistles do you have there tim?

the first time I played the whistle it was a feadog too. after two years of wondering how people could make nice music on those things I tried a different whistle and then I was hooked. I recomend getting a clark as your first whistle or an oak
