Re: Parks Bb test whistles
2 whistles have been spoken for. There is still one more.
There is nothing you need to do. These are whistles from a long time ago that now need a permanent home.

Parks Bb test whistles
Hello,
I am in possession of 3 Parks Bb test whistles. I have been instructed by Carey Parks to get these whistles into good hands that will enjoy them. I will send one to the first 3 people who request one.

I am so, so sorry!!
Hello, I have to apologize to the people on the site and especially to Carey Parks. I was part of a testing group for a new whistle, and I dropped the ball and didn't send to whistles to the next tester. There was a death in my family, and I was going through a very rough time. I kind of quit everyt...

Re: Best tutorials for beginners ?
This may be late, but I recommend 110 Ireland's Best Tin Whistle Tunes. 1. Progresses nicely from beginner to more advanced tunes (the first part of the beginner section has the finger charts in case the reader can't read music) 2. Has a good variety of tunes styles (reels, jigs, airs, etc.) 3. Come...

Re: Water Weasel C on e-bay
Thanks Steve. I had hoped this one would go past quietly. So would everybody please just bid on the Susato, Sweetheart or Overton F the same seller has for sale. Thank you. :) I have also been in contact with the seller. I do not believe it is a C whistle. It's in a key no one uses. :) Feadoggie We...

Re: Desert Island Whistle
This is a hard question, since I like all my whistles, but I had to be practical. 1-Salt water could corrode a metal whistle, so plastic would be best. 2-A take apart whistle would be nice because there would be less chance of it getting broken. Plus, it'd be easier to make a small case out of a ban...

Re: O'Brien whistle with two heads on eBay
That's a pretty whistle. If it's anything like the one I got, you'll love it. I thought the bag was the perfect touch with the whistle being made of Mexican Rosewood.

Re: O'Brien whistle with two heads on eBay
My dad ended up buying this whistle for me. He gave it to me yesterday when I went to go visit (yeah, he's a pretty good dad:)) I like it a lot. The quiet head is very convenient. You have to adjust your breath (less presure), but that's no problem. Plus, it doesn't go flat like when you close off t...

Re: error in 110 Ireland's Best Vol 1
If we all played by ear we wouldn't have this problem....?? I'm sorry! please forgive me it was a smart-ass remark....:-) http://www.tuxedomusic.com I've been practicing, but it's hard to do. I have to hear a tune played very slowly. I just started recording the session I go to and hope that will h...

Re: error in 110 Ireland's Best Vol 1
That's strange. I just got mine about 6 months ago. I got it from Amazon, so maybe it had been sitting around for awhile.
