Re: Generation tweak question...

With a bit of effort you can move the mouthpiece on the tube. Since it plays sharp now, you should position it a bit higher on the tube to tune right, I think that this will be better than extending the tube at the bottom.

Re: CP: Goldfinch Whistle World Tour

I received the whistle yesterday. It's well made and it looks good. It plays pretty comfortable, it has a nice shaped mouthpiece. Re: Who Owns Wood Whistles?

Many musicians (me included) believed that Ashokan was a period piece from the 1860's and was in the public domain but it's not. All hail Jay Unger. I live near Springfield, Illinois. With 2000 being Abraham Lincoln's Bicentennial and Springfield being the site of his presidential library and museu...

Re: Who Owns Wood Whistles?

I have an Oz Vambrace D whistle in Blackwood/Sterling silver.
I really love this whistle and most of the times I have a performance, I play this whistle. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ECP2DT0PU2A)
I like the sound of it and it also plays just like I want a whistle to play.

Brian Finnegan's mic position looks similar:

That's almost the same as how I position the microphone for my whistle.
