FS: Grinter Keyless in D
The flute was made in 2001, and I bought it used in 2007. It's been well taken care of and is in good playing condition. Kevin Crawford gave it a toot at a workshop and had Good Things to say about it. The flute suffered a drop about three years ago, resulting in scuffs on two of the silver rings an...

Re: emusic list
Good list, thank you. There are a few on it that I don't know. But I have some that I don't see in your list: Alan Kelly & John Kelly - Fourmilehouse Brendan Mulholland, Brendan Hendry, Paul McSherry - Tuned Up Brian Finnegan - The Ravishing Genius of Bones (not flutey, but since you have Flook ...

Eleanor Plunkett (O'Carolan) http://www.box.net/shared/0eyc29cpra Eb Grinter Played and accompanied by yours truly. Nothing too special playing-wise, but I'm pleased how the warmth and the edge of the flute come through. Oh yes, and I realize that I'm skipping a beat at the end, but it's too late to...

Re: FS: 2001 Grinter Keyless Flute in D
*shameless bump*
Well, according to the downloads of the sound sample, there seems to be some interest, but nothing tangible yet.
I have asked Tom Aebi for a quote to have the crack fixed professionally, and I'm open to take care of it ahead of the sale.

FS: 2001 Grinter Keyless Flute in D
Having made the jump to keys two months ago, it is time to pass on my keyless instrument. It's a 2001 Grinter in Grenadilla (aka. "Blackwood") that I bought from the original owner in 2007. Michael Grinter is a true master of his craft and his flutes are used by some well known players. Th...

Brett, I have a McGee that I'd be willing to part with. It's a sweet instrument, but I never got the hang of it for some reason. I'll PM you the details.

How to stabilize a crack
And so it happened: I'm on the road with my family, and in the chaos of things my assembled flute takes a tumble. It's a blackwood Rudall type, and it cracked at the joint between the two hands. Fortunately, the joint is held together by a silver ring holds up just fine, but I can't attempt a repair...
