Yes I was referrring to one of Brendan's customs

I understand the chromatic scale and the chromatic instruments

but in the case of Brendan's custom D/G , the bodies are "chromatics"

Not having seen the tutorial yet
Is this intended for the standard "solo" tuned 12 Hole harmonicas on in D and one in G
or a Chromatic in D/G ?

There are box players who also play concertina such as John Williams and Billy Mac.. I don't think one preceeds the other. As to the concertina types and the type of reed.. I am an on again off again player.. off at the moment and just sold off a few of my accordions.. I kept my 50's Hohner HA112 in "A" and my great grandfathers 2 plus row D/G acc with 6 bass Hand made reeds in bronze frames... Been thinking lately about going back to 1/2 step Irish tuning af...

I have always heard these Hohner models to be referred to as

A Hohner 4 stop or 3 stop or 2 stop

Or with the Vienna model a 1 row 4 bass

I have owned the four bass 2 reed models and like them very much

however I have modified them a bit

I play melodeons.. one row accordeons I have and have played 2 row 2 1./2 row and 3 row as well as Annglo concertina Concertina..30 button Anglo concertinas in C/G as used by Irish players.. favor this sytem as the accidentals on the outside row give you the c#'s for key of D... forget what they say...
