Same to you.

The evening was really great. Beoga is very fun band. If anyone has a chance to see them, don't miss it. They put on an excellent show.

Actually, that was last September. A brilliant night, with our own Ben Power joining Paddy and John Walsh on stage. Not to mention good craic with Paddy over a bowl of chili after the gig.
ahh... thanks for the correction there.

Beoga Concert in San Diego

For any interested, Beoga (ITM band) will be in Ocean Beach on March 2, at the Holy Trinity Parish Hall. I've never heard them before, but perhaps someone who has can give an opinion of their music/style. Apparently the Parish has several ITM concerts a year. Paddy Keenan was there in september. For...

When I first started posting here (about seven years ago under a different username) I never thought that this board would become such a hostile place. Michael is given the thumbs up by someone who appreciates his efforts, and then he is torn down and labelled as money grubbing and proud? Come on. W...

oops. I guess I broke the rules. Here it goes again. I wrote: Amazon again deleted all the honest reviews of Mr. Hamilton's 'Tin Whistle' music. I think that anyone who has the time should write an honest, polite, but strong letter to amazon.com stating the concerns we have with these CDs and with t...

Have you never heard of Mery Bergin? If you want true whistle virtuosity - she's your girl bar NONE. Period. End of discussion. Joannie is great, but Mary is cut from an older cloth...more traditional and less new age. Both artists have their place, and are two of the nicest people you'll ever have...

Regardless of how bad these CD's are, I would rather the guy have the freedom to sell them than for some nameless entity, be it an Amazon exec, a government beaureucrat or a self-appointed expert, telling me what I can or cannot buy, listen to or enjoy. With the freedom to converse and express opin...

I tried this approach in my review of one of his awful bagpipe cds. A new and innovative way to make music. It was computer generated using software also sold by the artist. You can get the software and read about how the CD was made at his website: http://www.mocroi.com/. It's the second best thing...
