Hello All! I'm a member from the distant past, trying to make a foray into Uilleann Piping. I have a few questions just to fill in some lack of information mainly: - I know of Daye and Skye's work, and they are well spoken of. However I haven't found anything much about Childress. Is there anybody w...

It's some random person. Thanks for asking though. I was thinking I should get a better one... This 'un doesn't ...

If its learning by ear you like, the only place I have seen and can recommend is this blog, with quite a bit of Podcasts and lessons from an aspiring teacher, if I remember correctly. http://smallpiper.blogspot.com/ Check it out, she is quite good, and I believe it fits your bill perfectly. Eitre has some excellent vocals you might enjoy. You can find their site and a few sound samples here:
http://www.eitre.com/sound.asp?lang=en
Their CD is also available off iTunes, or you can just order it. I would highly recommend it - an excellent album.
