Anyone have chords for "Let the Toast Go 'Round"?

It's a great song by The Irish Rovers and I'd love to learn it for my band's upcoming Ren Faire season. The chord progressions are rather quick and I'm having a hard time picking them out. I also cannot find them via web search. If anyone happens to have working chords for this song I would love to ...

Looking for duet sheet music.

Hello folks, I've been doing a lot of digging online and also searched the forum for whistle duet sheet music. So far I've come up pretty skint. If anyone can recommend a free archive with some good selections of duets that would be awesome! I'd like to work on some two part arrangements with my HD ...

Re: Unusual Session Instruments.

We've had a Hurdy Gurdy player show up to our session once. Luckily hers was tuned to G and she was smart enough to stay out of the tunes she couldn't play. Another time we had a didgridoo(sp?) player....he scared off our piper!

Re: Glenn Schultz D flute in ebony value?

Thanks Doc! The flute is still up for sale. I'm a little scatterbrained sometimes and I haven't renewed it in the FS Forum.

Re: mic for whistle?

I'm in agreement with JoFo there. I happen to play a Reyburn Session D....it's a fairly loud whistle...cuts like a knife when i want it to. Another possible solution(if possible without feedback) is to set your existing mic to be a little hotter and adjusting to using your voice and louder instrumen...

FS: Glenn Schultz D flute in blackwood

I have for sale a 3 piece Glenn Schultz flute made from african blackwood or possibly grenadillo. It is mostly black with some whitish bits in parts of the grain. I can't be sure because the owner of the flute(whom I'm listing it for) purchased it second hand some 15 years ago and never played it. I...

Re: mic for whistle?

I'm a singer and whistle player and I only use one mic when I perform. I've got a strong projecting voice but I never have trouble switching to whistle(though admittedly I'm only performing in a duo). Anyway, here's my 2 cents: Provided you are indeed aiming the right part of the whistle at the mic ...

Glenn Schultz D flute in ebony value?

Hello there folks! An acquaintance of mine brought me this flute for inspection and opinion. As a whistle player I'm familiar with Glenn's Thin Weasels but have only been told his flutes were nice. It had been sitting unused for quite some time and I had to grease the corks and gave the bore a light...

vectorized whistle graphics?

Hello there folks, My celtic folk, steampunk, time traveling duo is booked for DragonCon this year and we need to design new merchandise quickly! My HD player, Victoria, is also our graphic designer and she's having no luck getting a vectorized black and white graphic of a whistle. We need it for re...

Re: B whistle

I'll second the link to Burke Whistles. I own a Burke Bnat in brass and it's my favorite of all for its tone and complexity(even if I only get to use it for solo work). Don't hurt yourself or your ears trying to make a cheap Bb whistle play correctly in Bnat.
