Amontillado!!! Steve, you surprises me... Montilla is a village 50 kms from Cordoba (my town). Real Amontillado wine spends no less than 20 years resting in oak barrels. It's expensive and distribution is still closed to the ig market. Weather here is dryer and hotter than the one of Jerez (Sherry w...

That's it Steve. Cabrales is a treasure. It's a cheese with deep smell and strong taste. I usually surprise visits at home with a slice of white bread with a paste of cider and cabrales (cider in order to make it a bit softer and spreadable) and topped with a bit of strawberry jam and a salty roaste...

Hi there Jon, Marta is a friend of mine. She's a new Chiffer. I told her about your flutes and the chance we had to try them.

Just FYI

Any Sessions in Firenze??

I'll be visiting Tuscany, Italy, next week. Does anyone know if the session at Fiddler's Elbow still goes on on Sundays. Any chance to know the time and general atmosphere?

Thanks chiffers.

I'll say hello to David.

Well, we maybe could start a slammed doors club :) The flute is still slightly low pitched and some of the keys are yet to be retuned. The D key also needs a new spring or at least a bit of readjusting, I find that sometimes doesn't close properly and weaken s the bottom notes. This flute is not a s...

Thanks indeed Pamela, shame that my wife doesn't think so. She's rather in the mood that my playing is rather annoying. So she closes the door, then I blow harder and she puts on the radio. Then I blow harder and she slams all doors  It's a flute in Eb(ish). It's actually a vintage 5-keyed ...

Absolutely yes. He was superb, he had 'that thing' to involve the audience.

He seemed to float in the space, no limits.

I have before my eyes a protocol for doping," he said. "All of this has been covered up, at least in Spain." Untrue. This affair was openly commented in Spain. Documents spoke about Contador as regards as belonging to Manolo Sainz Team (ONCE) when he was a junior, as did spoke about ...
