like the first half of sliding off a note over an open hole key, then changed my mind. I haven't lifted the key mechanism at all--just vented a half hole. This is a great description of exactly what I meant when I used the word "jiggle", exactly so! But I wonder if this is correct techniq...

Hi! I'm new to Irish flute, but have played classical for many years. Forgive me if this is a common / dumb / "noob-ish" question... I'm having some trouble understanding the mechanics of rolls and cuts. Specifically, no matter how quickly I perform the cut or the cut part of the roll, too...
